Delete your account

You can permanently delete your account and data at any time.

Deleting your account permanently removes your mailbox, messages, attachments, contacts, settings, and associated personal data from our systems. This cannot be undone.

From the app

  1. Open the Selfhosted app and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings → Account.
  3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account and all associated data are then permanently deleted. You will be signed out on all devices.

By email

If you can't access the app, send a request from your account's email address to [email protected] with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify the request and permanently delete your account and data.

Deletion is permanent and applies to all users regardless of location. We delete your account along with your personal data — we do not merely deactivate it. Some records may be retained only where required by law (for example, to comply with legal obligations), and then deleted.
